Main venue<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Forum, at Doktor Fries Torg 7. This is our main venue and the home of West Coast Jitterbugs. All parties and all classes will be at Forum.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

At Forum, there are hangout areas and a fully functioning kitchen where you can heat your food or fill your water bottle. Forum does not have changing rooms or showers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What to bring<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We recommend bringing a water bottle, dance shoes, or other indoor shoes, preferably with soles that allow sliding on the floor to spare your knees. Other things that might come handy are a spare t-shirt if you get sweaty, and some chewing gum to prevent bad breath.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Food and Alcohol<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Near Forum there are grocery stores and a few restaurants. At Forum there are some microwave ovens you can use to heat up your lunch. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This festival will not have a bar. You are allowed to bring your alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverage to the party nights. If you chose to drink alcohol at this event, we ask you to drink responsibly and to not get drunk. You should also be aware that in Sweden you can only buy alcohol in Systembolaget and not in any grocery stores. N.B. The opening hours of Systembolaget. They close earlier on Saturdays and are closed on Sundays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Accommodation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Gothenburg has a lot of different alternatives for accommodation in different price ranges. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Be Hosted by a Local<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

In your sign up form you have the option to check if you would like to be hosted by a local dancer or if you are a local dancer willing to host. We will do our best to match you with a local dancer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Public transport<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Gothenburg has a regional transport service called V\u00e4sttrafik<\/a> provides information on ticket costs and timetables.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The nearest tram stop to Forum is Doktor Fries torg<\/strong>. It is also a less than ten minutes walk from the stop Wavrinskys plats. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
